Common questions

Do I need an account to use Focusr?

Yes — Google sign-in is required to use Focusr. Your data is stored on your device. If you're on Pro, your settings and streak are also backed up to the cloud so you can restore them after reinstalling.

Is the free plan actually free?

Yes — the free plan is free. Block up to 5 sites, use the timer, track streaks. No credit card needed.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Click "Upgrade to Pro" inside the extension. You'll be taken to Ko-fi to set up your membership. Use the same email as your Focusr Google account so your Pro status is detected automatically.

Can I cancel Pro anytime?

Yes. Cancel your Ko-fi membership at any time. You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.

What is nuclear mode?

Once you start a session in nuclear mode you cannot stop the timer early. For when you need serious, no-excuses focus.

Does it block sites on all tabs?

Yes — block any website. Add the domain (e.g. x.com, youtube.com) and every tab matching that domain is redirected during focus sessions.
